The bacteria that cause periodontal disease have also been linked to systemic medical problems such as diabetes, stroke, heart disease and low birth weight babies.
We’ll check your gums for periodontal disease and provide the appropriate treatment and follow-up care if we detect it in your mouth. Most treatments today for periodontal disease are non-surgical and can be done easily and painlessly in our dental office.
